Broederstroom

Broederstroom is a small town just a few kilometres south of Hartbeespoort dam and only a 40 minute drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. It’s the perfect place for nature lovers, with many hiking and biking trails nearby, and even caters to adrenaline junkies with its 1.3km long zip line course, which offers a spectacular aerial view of local game.

For those in search of a little culture, the nearby Lesedi Cultural Village is an ideal stop, and golf enthusiasts are well catered for with Pecanwood’s beautiful 18-hole course on the shores of Hartbeespoort Dam.

Nearby Hartbeespoort offers a huge range of activities, including watersports and boating, horse safaris, a cable-car trip to view the stunning Magaliesberg area from above, as well as various animal sanctuaries.
