About Humala River Lodge
Humala River Lodge is nestled between the bushveld in the Songimvelo Nature Reserve, a local park in South Africa.
The lodge comprises of ten rooms, which all feature twin or double beds, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, covered patios, and tea and coffee facilities. The lodging also offers guests Wi-Fi Internet access and communal facilities such as a lounge, a bar, a dining area, a boma and a sparkling swimming pool.
Our rates include coffee in the lodge with rusks first thing in the morning, a morning game drive, brunch, high tea (including light things like scones, muffins and cakes), an afternoon game drive, and dinner.
Guests can enjoy a variety of great activities in the Songimvelo Nature Reserve, including game drives to sightsee elephants, rhino and leopards - to name a few, learn about the ancient Legoya nation and see bushman rock paintings, as well as fly-fishing, for the avid fisherman.

We reserve the right to allocate a different unit number of the same layout described in the confirmation. No animals allowed. All critical information contained on the confirmation letter should be verified with us, prior to your arrival, so as to avoid problems. Please ensure that any Special Instructions or Requirements given to the Reservations Consultant (for the Resort's attention) have been entered above.
All guests should ensure that they are at the Reserve gate at exactly 14:00 on the day of check-in. Guests are only picked up once a day and are not able to drive themselves to the Lodge. This is due to conditions of the road and general wildlife safety rules.
Your vehicle will be left in secure parking for the duration of your stay.
Humala River Lodge staff will pick you up at 14:00 in a game drive vehicle and take you to the Lodge.
The Lodge is situated 10km from the Reserve gate and the drive takes approximately 40 minutes. see more
