The function area comprises a kitchen, a fully operational bar and a food serving area.

Riverside Kaia overlooks the Rhenosterfontein freshwater fountain and has a large amount of birdlife, guinea fowl and impala that graze on the lawns. Guests can take advantage of the proximity to Cullinan Diamond Mine, where the largest rough diamond was found, and be part of one of the daily tours.
