De Oude Scholen is a beautiful guest house situated in the Karoo town of Victoria West. This building was the first public school in Victoria West and was established in 1891.Now a guest house, it offers nine bedrooms and one self-catering unit. The comfortably furnished bedrooms are all individually decorated and have comfortable bedding and mosquito nets. The rooms all have electric blankets and are equipped with TVs and fridges. Make sure you take in De Oude Pastorie, the oldest building in town. This dinky Anglican Church was built in 1869 and boasts lovely stained glass windows. Also visit the Mannetjies Roux museum at the Victoria Trading Post.
