About Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary

At Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary, we pride ourselves on the accommodation we provide our guests and aim to ensure that we surpass all your expectations.

The lodge was established as a safe haven for animals who cant be released back into the wild, for their own safety. All animals now have a place to call home at Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary, living out the rest of their lives in a peaceful and happy environment.

All units are fully-furnished with a king-size bed, however single beds are available if necessary. The en-suite bathroom composed of a bath, shower, double vanity and toilet as well as free toiletries. The main lodge consists of the dining room and kitchen where a buffet breakfast is available every morning. Guest have access to the swimming pool at all times.

Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary borders Dinokeng Game Reserve, where guests can enjoy a game drive and experience the beauty of Africa's Big 5. For the guest that are feeling a bit more adventurous, come and ride around on one of our selected horses, viewing the rest of the animals at the sanctuary.

If you have a passion for wildlife, you found the right place!!! The respect, love and passion the owners& staff have is amazing. It was a great experience!!!

I originally planned on having this as my go-away place after getting engaged. Boy am I glad my original plans didn’t work out. After paying R2500 per night I expected a lodge experience and to be wined and dined. On finally arriving after driving around for 40 minutes as the place is very poorly marked we finally arrived and a volunteer was there to greet us. We were taken through the back door of the kitchen where everyone was busy cutting chicken and horse meat to feed to the animals a little later.
