The 17 500ha Reserve lies between the rural villages of Marken and Baltimore in the Limpopo Province and is not much further than a three hour drive from Johannesburg and less than two hours from Polokwane. Proud to be part of the malaria-free Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, Shelanti is privately owned and managed by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated people whose first qualification is their true love of the bush.

The lodge offers the option of both self-catered and fully-catered (dinner, bed and breakfast) accommodation where a weary traveller can put their feet up and relax, watch the clouds pass or read a book quietly. From the Lodge a number of activities can be arranged for those who are more adventurous.
