Woodlands Retreat is secluded nature retreat nestled amongst trees with mountain views. Central Clarens can be reached within 3 minutes' by car and the majestic Golden Gate National Park is 20 km away. The suites at Woodlands Retreat have a patios with mountain woodland and garden views. They are fitted with a kitchenette and complementary tea coffee and rusks. Electric blankets and heaters are standard in each unit. Guests can relax in the garden and barbecue facilities are also available. Important Information
T’s and C’s during your stay.
No Smoking indoors (Cleaning Fines will be Imposed)and if you do smoke in the garden please discard your butts in ashtrays as we are endeavouring to maintain an eco-friendly organic space both internally and in the garden.
No Pets as we have our own
Please respect each other’s space and need for tranquillity and also take care of our sacred place.
Please keep noise levels down after 11 pm in respect of other guests residing on the premises, neighbours and Clarens’s by-laws!
Please be considerate when using water as Clarens only has supply from reservoirs and can run out on a busy weekend. Ideally only shower for a maximum of 10 minutes and ensure all taps are off in your suite when not in use.
Please report any breakages or malfunction of equipment to Hannetjie immediately in order that we can replace or repair them.
Check out time is 10am. If you require later departure please contact Hannetjie well in advance.
You acknowledge that you take full responsibility of you children and ensure they are supervised at all times.
We love our garden and bird life which we share with you for your pleasure. We have demarcated areas where new flowers, bulbs and vegetables are growing. Please take care when walking around these beds.
When having a braai or making use of the fire pit, please use water to dampen the fire when done to prevent any accidental fire hazards getting out of hand.
We supply a complimentary pack of dry wood and fire lighters for one braai.
We do have large bags of wood available for purchase at R60 per bag – Please request a bag from Hannetjie if you would like one.
